INSTALLATION SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED IN ONE OF THE LARGEST MINES IN SOUTH AMERICA

After months of design and on-site work, the installation of a centralized system has been successfully completed at one of the largest open-pit mines in South America. The site, with estimated reserves of 1.6 billion tons, produces approximately 200.000 tons of copper per year.

Sibilia has built a fixed system of over 1.500 meters, configured on two lines, with the S30E central unit and two PR.3058C filter separators, characterized by a large filtration surface area.

The main objective is the recovery of copper concentrate, allowing its reintroduction into the production cycle and thus improving the efficiency and sustainability of the process.

In addition to recovering copper concentrate, the system helps keep production lines clean and efficient, reduces plant downtime, improves workplace air quality, and enhances operator safety.

A dedicated case study on this project will be available soon: stay tuned to discover all the details.
