One of the most important steel mills worldwide, with an annual production capacity of 41 million tons of steel, contacted us to equip one of its plants with a dedicated hot oil vacuum solution.
In the steelworks department, cooling tanks contain oil or process fluids maintained at elevated temperatures, generated by direct contact with the processed material.
Liquid temperatures can reach significant values, requiring dedicated systems for managing and suctioning hot fluid under safe conditions.
A proper management of the suction of oil or hot liquid from cooling tanks helps to improve operational safety, preserve the integrity of the systems and ensure the stability of the production process while respecting the expected operating conditions.
