THE COMPANY
The history of Sibilia began way back in 1936 when
the first high-vacuum industrial vacuum cleaner in history was invented
at the "Officine A. Sibilia Costruzioni Macchine Speciali" factory.
With a power range from 2.2 kW to 330 kW,
Sibilia stands out as the company with the most comprehensive range
of Electric and Diesel industrial vacuum cleaners.
OUR HISTORY

1936
Founded by Angelo Sibilia, the company was born as an expression of his enlightened entrepreneurial vision.

1947
The "Officine A. Sibilia Costruzioni Macchine Speciali" factory began manufacturing industrial machinery, from loom trolleys to mechanical blades, before specialising in industrial vacuum cleaners, which become the core of its business.
At the same time, the "Getto" cast iron foundry was established to support the production of components for Sibilia products. -
1984
The first truck-mounted system was designed, marking a turning point in the industrial cleaning sector. This innovation paved the way for new applications, making Sibilia vacuum cleaners the ideal allies for keeping industrial plants such as cement plants, steelwork factories and coal-fired power plants clean and efficient.

Under the leadership of Alberto Sibilia, son of the founder, the company embarked on a significant path of growth and internationalisation, establishing itself in just a few years as one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial vacuum cleaners.

2016
Sibilia proudly celebrated its first 80 years in business, confirming its role as a leader in the industrial vacuum cleaner sector.

2019
With the acquisition of the SPIROVAC® brand by a major multinational company, Sibilia further expanded its product range. This operation guaranteed continuity in the supply of high-vacuum solutions, spare parts and specialised technical assistance, in full compliance with the high quality standards that have always distinguished Sibilia.

Sibilia designs and manufactures industrial vacuum cleaners suitable for use in potentially explosive environments, ensuring the utmost safety even when vacuuming potentially explosive substances.
